Traditional Minnesota Wild Rice Side Dish
- 3/4 cup each chopped onion and chopped celery
- 2 cups sliced fresh mushrooms
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1/4 cup sherry
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/8 tsp pepper
- 6 cups cooked wild rice
- In large skilled, saute vegetables in butter; add sherry, salt, pepper and wild rice. Cook until liquid is evaporate and wild rice is heated through.
