Wild Beef 'N Veggie Soup

Ingredients
  

  • 1 1/2 lbs ground beef
  • 1 cup chopped onions
  • 8 cups beef broth
  • 1 can (28 oz) chopped tomatoes
  • 2 cups shredded cabbage
  • 1 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp pepper
  • 1 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1-2 tsp dried thyme
  • 1 bag (24 oz) frozen mixed vegetables
  • 3 cups cooked wild rice

Instructions
 

  • In large saucepan, brown ground beef an onion; drain. Add broth, tomatoes, cabbage and seasonings; bring to a boil. Add vegetables and wild rice; heat through.
